About Us
About ten years ago, I found some old Super Famicom cartridges in a drawer and wondered if there was a market for them. Turns out there was.
Before retro gaming, I'd been dealing antiques - which I still do. But those game carts started something different.
My office now is basically an 80s-90s Japanese gaming museum. Surrounded by CRT monitors, vintage boxes, and Showa-era memorabilia. It's a good workspace. When everything feels uncertain, there's something solid about these physical objects you can actually hold.
I have a particular fondness for that era of Japan. Honestly, I appreciate these items as objects more than as games. Finding old handwritten cheat codes in a manual or original store receipts still in the box - that's what I love. Those little pieces of someone's life from 30 years ago.
Over the years I've taken people on retro shopping trips around Japan. I want to do more of that. It's fun showing people where to look.
A lot of what I do is sourcing people's entire wish lists or tracking down specific items. If you're after something particular, feel free to reach out through the contact form, or find us on Facebook and Instagram.
I live on Sado Island with my wife, our son, and our border collie. Been in Japan about 20 years. Every item I sell has been sourced carefully and described honestly.
Whether you're after a specific PC Engine game, building a collection, or just curious about Japanese retro gaming - you're in the right place.
